From the bride..
El Chorro Wedding Inspiration
Prior to my wedding, I always envisioned having a glamorous event. I envisioned soft pinks and an open space that captured the day beautifully. My dream wedding encapsulated endless flowers and over the top ideas but the reality is, DREAM VENDORS make the real magic. Hiring my dream vendors was my ideal wedding.

Favorite Moments
My absolute favorite moment was after my first look with my husband, I had stopped and just taken in the moment and it hit me that my husband didn’t cry or have an over the top reaction to seeing me all glam and in my gown so I joked with him and asked, “babe you don’t look very surprised” to which he responded “I’m just trying to find the words, you’re so stunning.” And that’s how I felt about my whole wedding day.
From waking up at Mountain Shadow surrounded by all my favorite girls, mom, and mother in law and being beautified by Court Montes to finally putting on my gown and seeing the details put together. I felt so at ease and so at peace that so many incredible individuals executed my vision so well.
It also warmed my heart that mid makeup my photographer and videographer were in just awe of me and made me feel so incredibly gorgeous. I still look back and think of the comments Mary Claire and Molly made between “holy cakes, this bride is fire” to “every moment is gorgeous, I love this bride and groom.” Hearing, “dream couple” is a win itself.

The details..
My flowers came together so beautifully thanks to Lux Florist. I always dreamt of a tight fitted arrangement of whites and soft pinks. It felt so classy and so elegant and they executed so well. My gown was the second one I purchased. I never felt beautiful in a wedding gown and after 6 or more boutiques and 45 or more dresses, I gave up. Finally, I found my gown at Wedding Belles Bridal Boutique after walking in and just seeing it. I never envisioned pulling off the gown I had but it was the only gown I felt like a true bride in and I felt beyond confident.

I wanted to incorporate personal touches that I curated and those included personalized napkins, personalized card box and the ever so delicious Macaroons by Ruze Cake House that I got to design with my mother and mother in law.
My cake was by the ever so talented Ruze Cake House and completely inspired by the gown I was going to wear. Macaroons were the best favor I could think of. Macaroons had a soft place in our heart from our engagement in Paris to Save The Dates in Paris and it reminded us of where we started. It was a small gesture of gratitude our guests took home.

Advice:
My best advice to upcoming brides is to always go with your heart. After all, it YOUR day and every detail and choice you make is exactly that, YOUR choice. My second best advice is to LET GO on the big day. Have no worries or fears and just enjoy the process. Lastly, reach out to a former bride and if you don’t know one, I’m here. I did just that with a friend and the advice and encouragement she gave me meant the world.
