Portside Manor – Cole & Amanda
I loved capturing Amanda & Cole’s stunning & unique Maine wedding. Amanda and I first FaceTimed about her wedding 2 years ago. From the moment we started talking, I knew she was a special person with a beautiful soul. Shooting a fellow photographer’s wedding is always an honor and I was blown away by the care and attention to detail Amanda & Cole put into their wedding. They created a fun, warm, personalized atmosphere – it was an experience that Amanda & Cole and their guests will not soon forget.
From the bride…
As a photographer/videographer team we had a unique perspective when planning our wedding. We had seen so much and been inspired by all our past and present couples. To make it uniquely ours, we put thought into every little detail. We made sure the day was full of heart, meaning, and love.
We wanted to do the ceremony a little differently. Guests sat in the shape of a horseshoe so we could be surrounded by our people, the wedding party was invited to be seated during the ceremony to enjoy the moment, and our parents sat on the opposite side of us so they could see our faces during the ceremony.
Our inspiration was a coastal romantic vision using elements of driftwood, pampas grass, mussel shells, and lots of dusty blue hues paired with pops of pink & yellow. We wanted an experience and details that were truly a representation of who we are as a couple.
Every single aesthetic detail was incredibly beautiful. Beyond that, Amanda & Cole’s wedding was beautifully human, real and full of emotion. From the heartfelt toasts to the bride’s beautiful tribute to her father and the mother/daughter dance, it was clear that these two are beloved by all and have walked through many storms together and come out stronger on the other side. I am so blessed to know and capture couples far & wide and Amanda & Cole will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Kind Words From the Bride:
“We love your style of shooting and the way you edit your photos. How they are true to life, light and airy but still with a vibrant aspect to them. And for a lack of a better word “creamy” (ugh – but true!). We also love that your full galleries include styled portraits as well as real life moments that often get missed by some fine art photographers. Additionally, once we met you we loved your calming demeanor that allowed us to relax and be in the moment. I know a lot of photographers that are go-go-go and we really loved how you – along with the film process – slowed us down.”
