There is a moving symbolism in shooting a love story on theĀ ocean, amidst one of nature’s most powerful elements. Love is the strongest, most intense condition of the human experience. The sea has moments of fury, of peace, of calm, of wildness, of distress, of strength. In a way, it parallels the unpredictable but beautiful nature of our relationships.
This shoot seeks to embody that symbolism. My bride, in a soft golden gown, is complimented by the rocks and sand. The table is designed to be one with the natural backdrop. We incorporated shells, sand and native plants into the tablescape to achieve this look. The details including delicate calligraphy, a pearl headpiece and organic silk ribbon offer touches of elegance to complete this bridal seaside scene.
