This shoot speaks to me because it embodies my philosophy as an artist. I seek to capture real, beautiful & genuine moments. This couple wasn’t posed or directed. Their admiration for each other, their laid-back personalities & their passion for the music they make is natural and infused into each image.
I feel inspired by the human journey… of the tender, intimate moments between a couple, of the inside jokes & the way they look at each other like there is no one else in the world. I am equally moved by the heartaches every story must bear and the trials of hurt, sickness & despair. These things make up the human experience… something unique for each individual. My art, my passion, is to freeze those precious moments where your heart doesn’t know if it can handle any more happiness… to forever document & remember the beauty of the journey.
