Phoenix Estate Wedding – Madeleine & Ryan

Madeleine & Ryan were friends who met planning an event for Madeleine’s non-profit organization, then fell in love a couple months later. They are incredibly passionate, adventurous, driven people and compliment each other in every way. After a whirlwind romance they were married 6 months after they started dating on a beautiful day in May.

For my little sister’s wedding we wanted a warm, inviting reception with simple, organic details that emphasized the bride and groom and the celebration of their love for each other. Our dear family friends had the perfect home for our vision with an open, airy feel, lovely backyard and the most beautiful decor throughout the interior. The color palette was cream, gray, and the gorgeous deep hue of green found in eucalyptus leaves. Wood tables, organic floral arrangements, buffet style food and an assortment of homemade cakes further enhanced the intimate, natural feel that created an atmosphere for warm mingling and celebration.

The bride’s dress was custom made and fit her beautifully. Her look was a gorgeous combination of elegant and bohemian with her hair in loose waves adorned with a headpiece sewn together by her mom. For her bouquet, Madeleine wanted an organic shape with a simple color palette which turned out exactly as she envisioned. Her groom looked dapper in a fitted gray suit.

We knew that the details would create the overall feel of the reception, and thus incorporated organic simplicity throughout. The wedding favors were little bags of homemade granola made by the mother of the bride, with a lovely tag designed by our calligrapher to match the stunning invitation suite. Elegant wooden signs were also placed throughout the reception to label certain areas and further enhance the scene. The sweetheart table epitomized the romantic feel of the evening with chairs covered in greenery, a creamy silk and willow table runner and tons of candles to surround the bride and groom.

Ultimately it was an incredibly beautiful reception that felt intimate despite the large number of family & friends in attendance. We were incredibly blessed with a huge team of family, friends and talented vendors that made this night absolute perfection for Madeleine & Ryan and their families.

Huge thanks to all the amazing people who made this day so gorgeous!
