Over the last few weeks I’ve recommitted myself to shooting film and it’s been pretty exhilarating. Something about film feels so

gritty and authentic. It forces me to compose each shot with thought and deliberation knowing that every frame matters. I love that I have to

wait to see the final product and the rush I get when I look at the thumbnail prints at the register then fly home to load the photos on my computer.

 I wanted to experiment with film indoors and did a self portrait series to force myself out of my comfort zone.

Shot on a Canon AE- 1 with Ilford Delta 400 and on a Pentax 645 with Portra 400
